Delegations from Italian university orchestras gather under the baton of Maestro Karl Martin for the concert of October 20th in Rome
At the end of the 4th National Convention of Italian University Choirs and Orchestras, held in Rome on October 19th and 20th, delegations from Italian university choirs and orchestras performed Carmina Burana by Carl Orff conducted by Maestro Karl Martin, featuring soloists Susanna Rigacci (soprano), Giordano Ferri (tenor) and Sergio Leone (baritone). The event – with artistic direction and project management by Antonella Coppi and Stefano Cucci – was held under the auspices of Provincia di Roma and Roma Capitale, sponsored by Coordinamento Nazionale Cori ed Orchestre Universitarie Italiane and dedicated to earthquake-stricken Emilia.
