Featuring concerts, makers’ exhibition and a masterclass by Philippe Pierlot

Promoted by Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with artistic coordination by Bettina Hoffmann, Quarta Giornata della Viola da gamba will start on Saturday 14 May. During this two-day event gamba lovers from Italy and abroad  – professionals, teachers, students and amateurs – who will have an opportunity to play together, listen to recitals and to meet scholars and makers of instruments, bows and strings. Guest artist and teacher Philippe Pierlot will hold a masterclass and a recital. The closing event will be a collective open-air salute on the grass on the afternoon of Sunday 15.
