Scholars, critics, teachers, artists and managers will meet on 22-23 february
Organized by AIRDanza (Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca sulla Danza) in collaboration with Fondazione Romaeuropa Arte e Cultura, the two-day conference Italia danza – pensare formare divulgare will be held in at the Teatro Palladium (p.za Bartolomeo Romano, 8 – Roma – Italy) on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 April 2013. The meeting will focus on the changes that have confronted dance in Italy during the past decades, with the aim to identify some of the problematic knots and with the wish that new ways can be imagined to achieve a diffused awareness of dance culture.
The conference will be divided in three sessions that will feature papers by dance historians, scholars, critics, teachers, dancers, choreographers as well as by experts in the production and distribution of dance performance both from public institutions and private foundations and companies.
