A new appointment for “Voyage en Europe. La Belle Danse en Angleterre” on March 28th and 29th
The date of March 29th is sold out. Tree places left for the 28th.

PROGRAM
Belle Danse originated in France during the reign of Louis XIV and quickly spread throughout Europe. From the early 18th century, almost simultaneously with its publication in France, translations and editions of French treatises and collections appeared in England. Thus, the “English repertoire” of ballroom and theater dances also grew thanks to the presence of both French masters working in England and English masters, fostering a fruitful exchange of artists and expertise between the two countries.
The theme of the Masterclass will therefore focus on the English legacy of Belle Danse, and the two sessions will focus on choreographies reconstructed primarily according to 18th-century English treatises.
The teacher’s CV is available in Italian at this link.
