Just announced: comparative procedure for 4 coreographers active in contemporary dance research

An announcement has been recently published by Accademia Nazionale di Danza (AND) at Rome with the details of a comparative procedure to select four guest artists who will be charged with developing one or more choreographies with the students of AND Contemporary Dance School, within the pilot project Resid’AND finalized to the accomplishment of mandatory artistic activity by the students of Three-year Courses. Each one of the selected choreographers will work four weeks with one class of Triennio Contemporaneo and the results will be presented to the public with a performance at Teatro Ruskaja, built in a fascinating archeological site in the heart of Rome. 

The call is open to artists resident in Italy or active abroad who are engaged in research in the field of contemporary dance. Candidates must send in their applications, compiled according to the official instructions, by 6 February 2016. Selected choreographers, whose names will be announced before 20 February, will receive as an all-inclusive honorarium the gross sum of  euro 2500.00.
