An emblematic image to celebrate the International Pi Day
The expressive power of π (Pi) evoked by Hungarian-Italian choreographer Aurel M. Milloss in his masterpiece Estri (Whims), a “balletto concertante” to music by Goffredo Petrassi with set designed by Corrado Cagli, produced for the first time at the Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds in 1968 with (L to R in photo) Alfredo Rainò, Elisabetta Terabust and Giancarlo Vantaggio.
